Describe Condition with Specific Observations

A broad rating can hide useful detail.

A useful distinction

“Good condition” may mean different things to different readers. A small stain, worn cuff or missing label can be described more clearly with its location and appearance. An observation of condition does not establish product safety or compliance.

Put it into practice

Make a short factual note and include a clear item photograph where appropriate. Avoid diagnosing an unknown mark or promising that it will wash out. Keep visible wear separate from claims about the item’s suitability, remaining life or compliance with current requirements.
